Syntronic – Solar news – Header

Syntronic is contributing to advancements in sustainable energy solutions with the development of an advanced Energy Management System (EMS) for a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).

Designed for a customer in the clean energy sector, this system is engineered to store energy and distribute it efficiently to the grid, ensuring enhanced grid stability and seamless renewable energy integration.

Advanced system achitecture and performance

The EMS is built around a Central Supervisory Server that oversees the BESS Plant Controller, Battery Control Interfaces, Enclosures, and Inverters. This architecture ensures optimal system performance and efficient energy management. The system also includes redundant data logging to securely store detailed operational data, allowing for comprehensive analysis and continuous optimization of energy storage and distribution.

To support mission-critical operations, the EMS utilizes high-performance virtual machines, ensuring ultra-fast networking and real-time system response. With 10 Gbps networking, data transmission remains rapid and low-latency. Additionally, redundant data paths have been implemented to maximize system uptime and reliability.

User accessibility and emergency preparedness

The system developed by Syntronic is equipped with a robust user interface provides both local and remote access, enabling seamless system configuration and real-time monitoring. This ensures that operators can oversee performance and make adjustments with ease.

For emergency situations, the EMS is equipped with a Human-Machine Interface (HMI) designed for first responders. This feature provides intuitive access to critical system information, facilitating quick and effective responses to urgent situations.

By combining cutting-edge technology with expertise in embedded systems, mechanical design and networking, this project underscores Syntronic's commitment to delivering scalable and efficient solutions for the clean energy sector. The successfully developed EMS highlights the global engineering design house’s dedication to help shaping a more sustainable and energy-efficient future.
