management team grand opening ceremony in Shanghai

This week, Syntronic reached a major milestone on its expansion journey in China. The company opened a new branch in Shanghai, which the country’s biggest city and one of the world’s largest global financial hubs.

“The opening of the Shanghai branch represents a new step on our growth journey in China. It has always been my dream to set up a branch in Shanghai"

–  Björn Jansson, CEO of Syntronic Group

The new Shanghai office is Syntronic’s fifth branch in China. Syntronic, which celebrated the 15th anniversary of its presence in China in 2020, is already well-established in four strategic locations in the country: Beijing, Chengdu, Tianjin, and Nanjing. Overall, the company employs 600 co-workers in China – a number that is likely to increase significantly in the future.

Expansion strategy

The decision to open a fifth office in Shanghai is a part of an on-going strategy to strengthen the company’s presence in the Eastern parts of the country. “The opening of a branch office in Shanghai is a significant milestone for Syntronic China, which further extends our business in Eastern China. We believe that through the efforts of all our staff, and the support of our customers, Syntronic will keep getting stronger and stronger!” Zinser Zhao, General Manager of Syntronic China, said at the official opening ceremony.

Syntronic’s team at the new office in Shanghai is committed to providing Syntronic’s customers in the region with cutting-edge R&D and design services. ”As an important part of the business development of Syntronic China in East China, the Shanghai branch will strengthen the relationship with Nanjing, Hangzhou, Suzhou and other cities,” Zhou Xanjun, Manager of East China Regional, commented at the opening ceremony.

Continuous growth

The team in Shanghai will work in close collaboration with Syntronic’s Nanjing branch, which relocated to new, state-of-the-art premises equipped with an ultramodern lab this week. The Nanjing branch opened in 2019 and has already established itself as an innovative R&D provider in the region.

Like the Nanjing branch, the new branch in Shanghai will conduct its operations in state-of-the-art, premises that are well-adapted for R&D services. The office has been named the Syntronic East China Regional Innovation Center.
