Syntronic’s CEO Björn Jansson runner-up in Entrepreneur of the Year finals

Yesterday, the prestigious EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards were handed out at a gala event in Stockholm, Sweden. Syntronic Group's Founder and CEO, Björn Jansson was among the runners-up. 

In response to the recognition, Björn Jansson, Founder and CEO of Syntronic Group, expressed his gratitude to his team in Sweden and worldwide, stating:  

"The fact that our organization receives attention in the context of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year program is a testament to the talent, hard work, and innovative mindset of our entire team at Syntronic. Recognition program for outstanding entrepreneurs 

EY Entrepreneur of The Year is a global recognition program that celebrates outstanding entrepreneurs who contribute to economic growth worldwide.  

In Sweden, the finals are preceded regional competitions, where independent juries select the winners. This year, Syntronic’s Founder and CEO was selected Regional Entrepreneur of The Year 2023 for the Northern region in Sweden. 

Global growth journey 

Björn Janssons entrepreneurial journey began when he founded Syntronic while pursuing engineering studies at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm in 1983.  

Since then, Syntronic has grown into a global engineering design house with multiples sites in Sweden, Canada, China, Indonesia, Japan, Dubai, Malaysia, and the United States. 

Under Björn Jansson's leadership, Syntronic has become a well-established engineering group that materializes the visions of some of the world's most technology-intensive businesses in sectors such as telecom, automotive, industrial, and medtech. Specialized in advanced product and systems development, manufacturing, and aftermarket services, the company employs approximately 1900 people worldwide.
