A forum for innovators: Stockholm’s Electronics Fair 2022
The 2022 edition of the Stockholm Electronics Fair is now in full swing at Kista Science Centre, the world’s largest ICT cluster after Silicon Valley in California. Syntronic’s R&D, NPI, production and aftermarket experts share their impressions of the event.
“It’s inspiring to share ideas and discuss partnerships with some of the brightest minds in the industry,” says Victor Jansson, site manager at Syntronic Stockholm.
“We are noticing a strong interest in our full life cycle model, which covers our partners’ needs from concept idea to R&D, production, and the aftermarket stage. Our R&D sites, including Northern Europe’s most technically advanced labs located at our headquarters, is also attracting interest from leading industry players,” he adds.
Record growth
Syntronic, which delivered a record growth of 35 % globally this year, is currently in an expansion phase. This year’s edition of the Stockholm Electronics Fair was a welcomed opportunity to connect with new and existing partners.
Currently, the engineering design house experiences an increasingly strong demand for its R&D expertise – particularly in the telecom and automotive segment.
"Since we operate at the forefront of new technology, it is always interesting for us to be inspired by and connect with like-minded."

Moreover, the interest in Syntronic’s production services in Sweden, where the company has state-of-the-art manufacturing sites in Kumla and Sandviken, is high among fair’s visitors.
“When we connect with world-leading players in the tech sector at high-level events like these, it becomes even clearer to us how much our one-stop-model benefits our partners, says Kalle Nilsson, Account Manager at Syntronic Production Services.
“Since our production teams have direct access to our R&D experts, the fine-tuning process is fast and efficient for those who partner with us,” he adds.
Cost-efficient and convenient
In addition to the R&D & production segments, the interest in Syntronic’s aftermarket services is growing.
“Since we handle global repair volumes and offer a convenient ‘global offer, local presence’ model, we are viewed as a cost-efficient, practical, and timesaving option, says Account Manager Matts Sund live from the Stockholm Electronics Fair.

Astronaut and researcher Christer Fuglesang was among this year’s speakers, together with leading experts in a wide range of topics including sustainable engineering and the future of automotive.
