formula 1 car in progress

Syntronic actively supports the next generation of innovations through industry-academia partnerships. Our recent initiatives include a collaboration with LiU Formula Student at Linköping University in Sweden.

Each year, the LiU Formula Student team develops and designs an innovative competition vehicle, subsequently participating in Formula Student competitions with universities worldwide. We are thrilled to share the inspiring words of the LiU Formula Student team about our support:

"Syntronic is a valuable sponsor for us in LiU Formula Student, and especially the Driverless team, helping us set up a complete simulation environment in CARLA. In addition, they offer us consultant time and resources to achieve a faster development environment”.

A generation of forward-thinkers

The Formula Student competitions are organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE International). From its humble beginnings in 1979 with only eleven teams, it has evolved into the world’s biggest product development competition. Over 800 teams now partake in over fourteen competitions worldwide.

The primary objective of Formula Student is to conceptualize, fabricate, and assemble an exceptionally efficient, high-performance racing vehicle from the ground up. Additionally, teams must present a comprehensive plan for the (fictitious) production of 1000 units, underscoring the significance of incorporating economic factors such as production and logistics into their designs.

"Syntronic is a valuable sponsor for us in LiU Formula Student – especially the Driverless team".

At Syntronic, we believe in fostering a collaborative spirit that supports the next generation of forward-thinkers. By providing expert guidance, Syntronic’s engineers can contribute to cultivating a generation of forward-thinkers who will shape the future of mobility and engineering.

“We want to thank Syntronic for their help and partnership,” the team at LiU Formula Student concludes.
