Syntronic attends Invest in Indonesia forum to explore growth opportunities
Syntronic recently participated in the Invest in Indonesia forum hosted by the Indonesian Embassy at the World Trade Center in Stockholm. This well-attended event gathered government officials, business leaders, and investors from both Indonesia and Sweden.
The event was an opportunity to discuss new avenues of collaboration – particularly in promising sectors such as digitalization, renewable energy, and sustainable infrastructure.
At the forum, Indonesian Ambassador Kamapradipta Isnomo pointed out that Swedish business interests in Indonesia are on the rise. The ambassador emphasized Indonesia’s openness to collaboration and encouraged Swedish businesses to take part in the country’s transformative growth.
Syntronic: A positive example
During the forum, Syntronic was highlighted by Business Sweden as a positive example of an engineering company that is performing well in Indonesia. Since first establishing operations in Indonesia in 2010, Syntronic has strengthened its market presence in the country significantly. In 2021, the company’s Jakarta-based aftermarket center expanded its reach through a Bonded Zone License, which has empowered Syntronic to handle global repair volumes.
Syntronic’s commitment to Indonesia is also reflected in the company’s active role in national initiatives, such as for instance its participation in the Sweden-Indonesia Sustainability Partnership Week. Moreover, the company has hosted a delegation from Indonesia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Embassy at Syntronic’s headquarters in Sweden, to showcase one of northern Europe’s most advanced technological labs.
“Syntronic is honoured to be recognized as a strong example of how Swedish businesses can contribute positively in Indonesia. We see many opportunities in the region and we look forward to keep contributing as Indonesia continues its growth journey,” Syntronic’s Founder and CEO, Björn Jansson, comments regarding the company’s achievements in Indonesia.
Sustainable development
At the forum, it was highlighted that Indonesia has shown a 5 % annual growth rate on average over the past decade (with the pandemic period as an exception). The aim is to reach 6 to 7 % in the coming years. According to predictions, Indonesia has the potential of becoming the world’s fourth-largest economy by 2045.
As a globally present company committed to supporting sustainable growth worldwide, Syntronic looks forward to keep contributing to technological advancements and innovation in Indonesia.
