Smart mobility

At Syntronic, we believe that mentorship and knowledge-sharing have crucial parts to play when it comes to driving innovation. That is why we are pleased to share that we are a partner to York University (YSpace) and SmartTO, in the context of the new Smart Mobility Technology Accelerator programme.

This innovative programme is designed to support startups and SMEs that work on groundbreaking smart mobility technologies. The accelerator offers unique opportunities to advance important projects, for instance related to smart materials, lightweighting, system reliability, battery testing, or Smart Grid Integration.

New automotive technologies

Participants in the programme will gain access to expert mentorship, state-of-the-art facilities, and invaluable R&D assistance. Organizations like Syntronic will get the opportunity to share our expertise and provide guidance to stakeholders interested in learning more about how to develop, test, and create prototypes for new automotive technologies and smart mobility solutions.

"As a company with extensive experience in the automotive industry, we are excited to share our knowledge and help shape the innovative landscape of smart mobility solutions,” Björn Jansson, CEO of Syntronic Group, comments.

Innovation network

The programme is an initiative by York University and Smart Mobility Applied Research and Testing-Toronto (SmartTO). SmartTO is a regional technology development site that forms part of the Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network (OVIN).

As an organization with a strong presence in Ontario, where we have a design centre in Toronto (Markham), Syntronic has previous experience of positive collaboration with OVIN. For instance, Syntronic is a key member of the Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network (OVIN) Demonstration Zone, which is a platform for testing, piloting, and showcasing innovations in the automotive sector.

At Syntronic, we are dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment where mentorship and knowledge-sharing are at the forefront. We believe that by supporting emerging innovators, we can collectively shape the future of smart mobility. We look forward to being a part of the next wave of automotive technology.
