Strong interest in Syntronic’s Innovation Competition

The interest in Syntronic China’s Innovation Competition, which aims at promoting creative engineering solutions, remains strong.  The preliminary rounds of the competition's 4th edition were held this month.

"The Syntronic China Innovation Competition was initially a platform for engineers to showcase their ideas and contribute to the company, Zhao Zhensheng, the general manager of Syntronic Asia, commented.

“Today, it has become a tradition for us, serving as a means to provide more value to our customers through innovation and to create a platform for employees to showcase their talents,” he added.

Diverse projects

Since registration opened in September, a total of 62 entries have been submitted by  members of Syntronic’s engineering teams in Beijing, Tianjin, Chengdu, Nanjing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.

The projects are diverse and innovative, spanning areas such as software algorithms, communication technology, millimeter-wave radar, automotive electronics, test systems, mechanical structures, and management tools.

During the preliminary competition, contestants from various regions and roles presented a variety of technical solutions and business concepts through PPT roadshows. Eight professional judges and 50 public judgescontributed with comments and guidance.

In the competition, the assessment criteria are centered around perspectives such as technological innovation, possible market size, and business growth potential. Other aspects that are being taken into consideration are applicability, feasibility, scheme integrity and sustainability.

Six projects will be competing in the upcoming finals.
