We talk to Bianca Mirea, HR Manager at Syntronic’s production and aftermarket site in Timișoara, Romania. With nearly two decades of experience in human resources and a strong academic background in applied mathematics and HR management, Bianca plays a central role in shaping the team and culture at Syntronic’s newest location.
This month, Bianca celebrated her one year anniversary at Syntronic. Moving into the tech and engineering sector was a conscious step in her career. “To be part of the tech and engineering sector is an interesting challenge and I am happy to be here,” she says.
The site in Timișoara where Bianca is based currently offers high-quality electronics repair services, supporting the EMEA market and contributing to Syntronic’s commitment to sustainability by prolonging product life cycles. Moving forward, the site will also focus on high-volume, low-cost production.
Helping to establish Syntronic Production and Aftermarket Services S.R.L. in Timișoara has been a rewarding experience for Bianca. She describes how fulfilling it has been to see the team grow day by day and watch professional connections take shape. Recruitment was the first major milestone.
“Timisoara is a city with many universities, and we had the chance to recruit fresh graduates, who came with the desire to learn and develop together with Syntronic,” she shares.
Motivated to grow
As the team has grown, inclusion and balance have remained priorities, which is something Bianca sees reflected in Syntronic’s day to day operations. “I believe that Syntronic encourages gender equality worldwide, and Romania is one of the countries where there is a good mix of people in all roles. I believe that this is the present and future of balanced teams,” she comments.
Looking ahead, Bianca is focused on recruiting people who are skilled and motivated to experiencing professional growth. “The Syntronic Romania team needs people who are excited to grow and learn at the same pace as the company,” she says.
“What Syntronic is doing is different from the companies in this area, and I am very excited to participate with my work at the development and growth of it".
Global environment
One of the most rewarding parts of Bianca’s role is working in a global environment. “Syntronic is a company with tradition, with more than 40 years on the market in different industries, with a big potential for future growth. Most of all, I like working in an international environment and team. We have meetings and discussions with colleagues from Sweden, Indonesia, USA, Malaysia and many other countries.”
Bianca has a positive outlook when it comes to the future of the site and the people who get to grow their careers alongside it. “What Syntronic is doing is different from the companies in this area, and I am very excited to participate with my work at the development and growth of it. It's very fulfilling to see how step by step, we move closer to our targets,” she concludes.
