Syntronic delivers intelligent monitoring and predictive maintenance platform to global automation leader

Syntronic has delivered an intelligent industrial machine–human networking monitoring and predictive maintenance platform to a global leader in industrial automation. Now a key component of the customer’s intelligent manufacturing demonstration project, the platform is fully integrated into the control environment of its robot production line.
Built on a robust industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) data architecture, it provides real-time equipment status tracking and end-to-end digital operation and maintenance across multiple robot models.
Full-stack digital control
At the heart of the solution is an industrial data loop that links perception, analysis, and decision-making, effectively forming a digital “nervous system” for the robots. From low-level data collection to high-level intelligent applications, the platform enables continuous, full-stack digital control.
The data collection layer uses high-performance microservices to gather three categories of critical information via specialized interfaces: real-time equipment health and operating modes, kinematic parameters such as joint angles and end-effector speeds, and detailed alarm codes and logs.
Above this, an industrial big data engine built on Python operates around the clock. By extracting feature parameters from vast quantities of motion data, it evaluates robot health with precision through advanced diagnostic models.
The platform’s application modules are designed to make sophisticated IIoT capabilities accessible to operators while supporting “efficient control” and “convenient operation”.
A service management subsystem handles installation, removal, and lifecycle control of all services. It can dynamically shift data collection priorities based on a device’s real-time condition. Meanwhile, the configuration management subsystem scans the network for connected devices, automates registration, and sharply reduces manual configuration work.
On the front end, web-based dashboards visualize multidimensional data in real time. Operators can view live device status, monitor health trends, and pinpoint issues through clearly presented alarm information. The result is an intuitive, unified overview of robot activity across entire production lines.
From laboratory to production line
The platform has already been deployed across multiple production lines at major domestic manufacturing bases, linking hundreds of robots spanning multiple product series.
Early operational results show that predictive maintenance has significantly boosted overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), reduced unplanned downtime, and lowered maintenance costs. It has also laid the groundwork for an enterprise-level digital twin infrastructure, supporting the next phase of intelligent manufacturing.
Syntronic looks forward to continuing to contribute to assignments that advance intelligent manufacturing and drive innovation in the industrial automation sector.
