AI hero

Syntronic recently supported a fast-growing robotics company in reinforcing the AI and hardware foundation of its autonomous floor cleaning and inventory management systems. The company brought in Syntronic to provide the hardware, embedded, and system integration expertise required to advance a platform increasingly dependent on high-performance NVIDIA Jetson technology.

To support the company’s long-term roadmap, Syntronic assumed responsibility for the redesign of its control processor card. Engineers with experience from earlier prototypes were onboarded to preserve critical product knowledge and ensure continuity. The renewed architecture is built around the NVIDIA Jetson technology selected by the client, enabling more demanding AI workloads, extending the hardware lifecycle, and creating a scalable base for future generations of robotics solutions.

Operating under a turnkey model, Syntronic managed design updates, verification work, and prototype builds. This allowed the robotics company to stay focused on system-level innovation while Syntronic secured manufacturability, performance, and long-term sustainability for a platform increasingly shaped by NVIDIA’s rapid technological evolution.

AI-ready hardware platform with NVIDIA integration

As part of the redesign, Syntronic enabled the selected NVIDIA Jetson module on a new processor card designed to support multiple Jetson generations. Syntronic delivered the complete Board Support Package, including bring-up of CSI camera interfaces, PCIe, storage, connectivity, audio, display, and communication pathways between the Jetson unit, the control processor, and the safety processor.

The integration required deep familiarity with Jetson-specific power sequencing, peripheral tuning, and system bring-up routines, ensuring that the platform could fully leverage the AI acceleration capabilities that define NVIDIA’s edge portfolio.

To support efficient AI and autonomy development, Syntronic also created a clean upper-level API. This allows software teams to focus on higher-level autonomous behaviour while relying on a stable, fully validated embedded foundation anchored in NVIDIA’s compute performance.

The renewed hardware platform provides a modern, reliable, and scalable solution designed for current and future AI-driven applications. It demonstrates how Syntronic’s experience with the NVIDIA ecosystem can strengthen engineering capacity, extend product lifecycles, and establish robust embedded foundations for next-generation intelligent systems.

"Our 5+ years of hands-on experience with NVIDIA Jetson technology uniquely positions Syntronic to help innovators accelerate product development with confidence," said Hans Molin, President of Syntronic Canada.

"By combining deep hardware, embedded software, and system-integration expertise with the performance and scalability of NVIDIA Jetson technology, we empower customers to unlock new levels of AI capability while focusing on what matters most - bringing breakthrough products to market faster and more efficiently," he adds.

Syntronic continues to support companies worldwide as they adopt increasingly advanced NVIDIA technologies and develop the next wave of AI-enabled products.
