Acknowledging the importance of International Women’s Day at Syntronic!

Today and every day, we are proud of everything that our team members do to help creating an environment where everyone can thrive in the world of engineering.

For instance, we are proud of the strong interest in Syntronic’s own Femtronic – our in-house network for women in tech. Today, on International Women's Day, our network organized an interesting seminar on gender equality from an intercultural perspective.

Femtronic is a dedicated space for female engineers to support and inspire each other, in an atmosphere of camaraderie and empowerment. The network regularly organizes seminars on a wide range of topics, with a focus of inclusivity and knowledge-sharing.

“Femtronic is also a forum for meaningful discussions on strategies to attract more women to tech careers. We want everyone, irrespective of gender, to be able to pursue their passion for technology and are interested in talking about strategies for making that happen,” says Josefine Bergqvist, talent acquisition specialist and head coordinator for Femtronic.

Today, the network consists of a growing number of Femtronic ambassadors with a variety of different areas of expertise, including hardware and software development, advanced test development, and project management.

“We are pleased to see that engineers from different backgrounds and with different professional profiles at Syntronic choose to join our network. Together, we can keep working for a future where everyone feels welcome in the world of technology and engineering,” Josefine Bergqvist concludes.
