Syntronic sees continued growth with its latest design center in Markham, which was announced in June 2022. Today, the design centre already employs more than 40 Software and Hardware design engineers supporting customers in the greater Toronto area and North America as a whole.

To lead the new site, Syntronic has hired Todd Conroy as Director of Engineering and Toronto Site Lead with the focus to drive further growth in both talent and business. Syntronic’s Toronto design center has the capacity to design and deliver complex engineering products and solutions.

Further growth

Toronto and its surrounding areas are home to some of the world’s most innovative technology companies, and many of these companies are customers of Syntronic. Having a local presence in the region has enabled Syntronic to provide better support to its global and local customers. Having a seasoned Site Lead in Todd will ensure that our customers’ requests and expectations are exceeded.

Syntronic expects continued growth in the Greater Toronto Area with a goal to have a team of more than 100 employees locally within the next two to three years complementing the existing broader Syntronic Canada team of more than 500 employees.

Todd Conroy About Todd Conroy

Todd Conroy brings over 30 years of experience in product development,having worked in senior roles throughout his career.

His career includes high-level positions at companies such as BlackBerry, Motorola, Northrop Grumman, and Freescale.

Todd holds an MBA from Northwestern University (Kellogg), a Master of Science in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from IIT.
