Vision system – Overlapping/Blind areas on Articulated buses

Description of the thesis proposal:

This thesis work is to find a solution for when cameras overlap and see in in each other’s areas. Likewise, when cameras move away from each other it will be a blind area between the cameras.

The suggested solution may be hardware (cameras, detectors, sensors etc.) or other (software, analysis methods etc.). Included in the scope is also how to visualize the collected information to the operator at a remote location (screens, VR, etc.) to find a solution so it will be visualized perfect on screen.

Syntronic would like to apply the possible solution in the future process. The main goal at this moment is to evaluate a solution to implement the best solution for avoid overlapping by the cameras. 

The proposed project will require a dedicated student who is interested in systems with Vision, we are flexible in the exact scope of the thesis project.
