What you'll do
Member of the System IVV team and perform integration and test of various features of the LightSpeed system
Develop/maintain test cases, test beds required for various Test cases.
Hands on testing in the Leo Lab for various data path and routing features.
Work with other segments like DevOps, Ground Systems, Satellite and foster a collaborative and innovative environment.
Ensure product under test meets technical, functional, performance and business requirements
Work as part of a scrum team in an Agile development environment.
Keep the lab functional and update with known hardware and software configuration to execute various test scenarios as necessary.
What you'll need to get the job done
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience with hands on testing with various networking technologies
At least 5 years of experience in one or more networking technologies including but not limited to LEO satellite communications, mesh networking, edge computing platforms, network encryption, etc.
At least 2 years of experience in MEF protocol and standards.
Strong knowledge of IP/TCP/Routing fundamentals
Preferred experience in SR-MPLS.
Experience with CI/CD and simulated software testing methodologies.
Experience with various IP Test equipment like Ixia
Experience with cloud technology, virtualization, and containerization.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience working with geographically dispersed teams
Familiar with various Atlassian tools like Jira.
Automation experience with programming languages like Python
The successful candidate must be able to legally work in Canada and obtain clearance under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
