What you’ll do
You will work in a multidisciplinary development team in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing are part of the daily work. Your role will include:
Analyze, clarify, expand and break down system requirements.
Collaborate with other team members on system software design and architecture.
Update and integrate Linux distros and boot loaders to work on target platforms.
Integrate vendor-specific device drivers and design and develop new drivers as needed. Integrate and develop middleware and platform software components into the Linux distro.
Perform unit, functional and integration, testing of the developed software.
Collaborate with other disciplines on HW/SW and system integration and verification activities
What you MUST have to get the job done
5+ years of experience with C/C++ and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
Experience in board bring-up, u-boot modifications, developing drivers and applications for Linux OS preferably on ARM platforms
Experience designing and bringing up products based on complex FPGA SoCs (Intel Arria, Stratix or Agilex families or Xilinx Zynq MPSoC/RFSoC families)
Working knowledge of Linux kernel, device drivers, network subsystem
Device driver development for peripherals and buses: SPI, I2C, PCIe, Ethernet, UART, GPIO etc.
Hands-on experience with build systems (yocto, buildroot)
Linux Userspace HAL and driver development
Experience designing middleware for OTA, system health, diagnostics and environment monitoring, logging, etc.
Understand HW schematics, datasheets
Experience using oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, spectrum analyzers, L1 debuggers.
What will make us REALLY love you
Knowledge of L2/L3 (Eth/IP) networking, protocols and tools
Knowledge of network synchronization protocols (IEEE1588 PTP, SyncE)
Familiarity with security technologies and tools: secure boot, trust zone, encryption, access control (SELinux)
Exposure to 5G RAN technologies and understanding of RAN architecture.
Knowledge of the Agile process, and willingness to work in an Agile organization, experience using Jira and Confluence
Hands-on system-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
You have a friendly willingness to collaborate and play nice with others
